Copt Heath Golf Club was founded in 1907 by Alfred Lovekin, who engaged Harry Vardon to lay out eighteen holes on the heath just south of Knowle. Harry Colt first visited in 1912 and returned several times over the next twenty years, and his bunkering is still the defining feature of the course.
The course is heathland, lined with mature trees and gently undulating, and measures 6,541 yards from the white tees (par 71). We are just off junction 5 of the M42, about nine miles from Birmingham city centre.
