Copt Heath is a private members' club, run by members, for members — and we're proud of the warm, inclusive community that creates. Golf comes first here, but so does the social side of club life; it's a big part of what makes membership feel worthwhile.
We warmly welcome applications from those who share our love of the game and want to play an active part in club life. If you'd like to join, simply complete the application in full and we'll process it promptly — or call us on 01564 731620 (Option 2) and a member of the team will be glad to talk you through the options.

If golf isn't for you but you'd still love the atmosphere and community of Copt Heath, our Social Membership is the perfect alternative.
Social Members enjoy our clubhouse, bar and dining facilities, along with a varied calendar of social events through the year. It's ideal for friends, partners and local residents who want to be part of club life without playing golf — with exclusive member benefits, regular dining opportunities and a genuinely welcoming environment.
Membership Requirements
What You'll Need
We normally consider applications for full membership from prospective members with a WHS handicap index at or below the levels shown below. This ensures a suitable standard of play for the challenges of our course. Applicants without a current handicap at this level, or with a lapsed handicap, may be offered another category of membership on a temporary or restricted basis.
Men
18.5WHS handicap index or better for full membership.
Ladies
30.6WHS handicap index or better for full membership.
Juniors
No handicap required. Approval to play and qualifying rounds are arranged by the Club Professional, who — with the Junior Organiser — can also act as proposer and seconder.
A proposer and seconder are not mandatory for junior applicants, as this is facilitated by the Professional and Junior Organiser, who can be introduced by the office.
